Kilshanny House

Village Pub, Food, Music, Singing, Storytelling

Kilshanny House is a beautiful old village inn on the edge of the Burren. It is a meandering fifteen minutes’ drive to the Cliffs of Moher on the Wild Atlantic Way, Lahinch, Doolin, Ennistymon and Lisdoonvarna.
The two hundred year old house is known affectionately to locals as ‘The Shop’. The pub opened in 1860 and operated as a general store, pub and a farm throughout the 1990’s.
Since 1997 this historic homestead has been lovingly restored by Aidan with passion and a craftsman’s skill back to the original stone.
In touch with the landscape, the raw limestone walls whisper all the words spoken and unspoken.

This family owned village pub and venue for food, music and storytelling is highly rated by the McKenna’s Guides and Trip Advisor.
Over a million tourists visit the Cliffs of Moher annually and those who discover Kilshanny House make it their local when they return!
